About

My name is Toni Snideman. I'm 26 years-old and I live in Anderson, IN. I have CP. To those who aren't familiar with the condition, it's officially known as Cerebral Palsy. To get even geekier about it, my diagnosis is Spastic Diplegia (go ahead, Google it, I dare ya!)

I am not in a wheelchair full-time, though you will find me using one if I am out-and-about, particularly if I have to walk long distances. When I was younger I used braces, a walker, even crutches. I've had a few corrective surgeries, but I've mostly had the same issues for as long as I could remember.

I was married in October 2013 to my best friend, Jon. Together we have a house, a dog (Emmett the dachshund) and a cat (Jackery, also known as Jack). No, they are not just "pets", they are our babies.

I recently completed my bachelor's degree in Health Care Management. I am a data entry coordinator for the Clinical Research department of a local hospital. When I am not working I am spending time with my husband and our two boys, I also like to read, watch TV/movies, eat, shop, and listen to music.

I started this blog because, in my heart I am a writer. Its something I always loved doing when I was younger. I got out of it for a long while. Work, school, life in general got in the way. I've been going through some personal stuff lately so I thought writing would be a creative avenue for me.

I have no idea if anything I write here will be any good, or if anyone will even read it. But if you do, I encourage comments/critiques of any kind. Also, I'm always looking for something to read. If you think of any blogs I might like to follow (fellow writers, especially) I welcome your suggestions!
